HI, I'M EM!

I'm the proud owner and founder of Fordy’s Fitness.

​

I’m a passionate Personal Trainer with over 20 years’ experience helping women feel fitter, stronger, healthier, and happier.​

I know what it’s like to face setbacks, juggle life, and lose your spark, because I’ve been there too.

From football fields to motherhood and menopause, I’ve learned what it truly takes to rebuild strength, confidence, and happiness. ​

My mission is simple: To empower and support women to become fitter, stronger, healthier and happier versions of themselves. 

MY STORY

Sport has always been a huge part of my life. 

From representing my county in basketball, running a marathon, to achieving my dream of playing football for Arsenal and England Ladies, I’ve always loved pushing myself and seeing what’s possible.​

I attended the Arsenal Ladies Academy, earning a triple distinction in Sport and Exercise Science, and that’s where my passion for health, movement, and helping others really took off.​

I wanted to inspire others to find their own strength — physically and mentally. 

 

Over the years, I’ve trained hundreds of clients with all kinds of goals: from weight loss and injury recovery to pre- and post-natal fitness and menopause support.

MY MISSION IS SIMPLE​

To empower and support women to become fitter, stronger, healthier and happier versions of themselves. 

MY JOURNEY BACK

Life hasn’t always been smooth. 

 

I’ve faced major surgeries, including two emergency caesareans and a full hysterectomy in 2024, which led to surgical menopause. For years, I couldn’t exercise, something that took a toll on my body, mind, and confidence.

​

But I came back stronger. Step by step, I rebuilt my strength, my energy, and my happiness. Today, I’m training again, thriving through menopause, and more motivated than ever to help other women do the same.​​

This is why through my own lived experiences and working with hundreds of different clients I offer services which make a real difference, including: â€‹

-Specialising in pre-and post-natal training, as I love helping women transform their bodies throughout motherhood.​

-Sport specific training and injury rehab  â€‹

-Exercising throughout the menopause â€‹

-General fitness goals, such as weight loss and strength building
